Rhiannon and her Fae Horse
Rhiannon is a Welsh goddess. Her name in Gaelic: Rhiannon means "the Great Queen", this Welsh Faerie Queen symbolizes fertility, the Underworld, bringer of dreams, and moon magick. She is the goddess of birds and horses, and is often seen riding a white horse (similar to the goddess Epona). However, I depicted faerie Rhiannon with a Gypsy Vanner horse, since Gypsy Vanner horses look very fae, a perfect match for my Faerie Queen Rhiannon. This painting is created with watercolour and coloured pencil. 24x18 inches. Buy a PrintAll images at this site are copyrighted and specific property of Deborah Ewan.
