About Debbie Ewan

I was born in Perth, Scotland. I moved to the United States when I was three, and lived in America for 19 years. A year after I finished University my sister and I moved back to Scotland in 2008, currently I am living at Gleneagles, near Auchterarder.
I love the history and the atmosphere in Scotland and I often interpret this energy into my artwork. In the summer of 2006 my family visited Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. We saw many stone circles there, the main stone circle is called Cullanish. I have always been interested in myth, fantasy, and megalithic sites, so this was very inspirational for me.
I graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in Fine Art with a concentration in Illustration in May of 2007. After returning to Scotland I returned to education to learn more about design, I graduate from Perth College UHI in June 2011 with a HND in Visual Communication.
Currently I teach yoga at Perth Yoga Space, and have a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. I have been horseback riding since I was 7 years old. I love to read and do so every chance I get. I enjoy to expand my knowledge, and I reflect this into my artwork.
I create my designs and illustrations in a unique way with my use of colour. I am knowledgeable in software such as: Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
